About Us
We are a family-run cattery set in the beautiful village of Newton on Derwent in the East Riding of Yorkshire, situated approximately 9 miles from York, 5 miles from Pocklington and 1 mile from Wilberfoss.
Our purpose-built cattery has 8 luxury rooms for 1 or 2 cats, and an additional 4 family rooms which can accommodate up to 4 cats from the same household. The larger family rooms offer double the space over 2 individual rooms that connect to each other and are ideal for:
* Cats that do not want to be separated
* One or two cats who like a bit of extra space to run around and play
* Cats who are especially active
* Cats that are happy to share but occasionally want to do their own thing
* Long term stays
All of our rooms have walk-in sleeping areas, fully glazed uPvc doors and under-paw heating, so your cat will be warm and cosy during the cooler months. During the warmer summer days, if required, we have the option of air-conditioning.
We have a robust cleaning schedule to ensure your cat's room is always spotless and we follow rigorous disinfection protocols between guests. We have a catering standard kitchen and are able to offer frozen storage for specialist diets.
We are committed to providing the very best care for your cat while they are staying with us, and welcome viewings by appointment. Prices start at £13.00 a day for one cat boarding.

Opening Times
We run an appointment only system for all of our drop off and collections within our opening hours below:
During the main school holidays (i.e. Easter, Summer, Christmas and half-terms) we are open as follows: Monday to Friday 9.30am to 11.00am and 15.45pm to 17.00pm
Saturday 9.30am to 11.00am
Sunday and Bank Holidays (Excluding Christmas & Easter) 15:30pm to 16:30pm
During term time we are not open for drop-off or collection on Wednesday afternoons.
Opening hours over Christmas and Easter vary and are reviewed annually. Additional charges apply where cats are boarding over Christmas and New Year.
Planned Closures
Please note we will be closed on the following dates in 2026:8th - 18th July inclusive. Re-open Sunday 19th July at 3.30pm.
Bookings & Payment
Please get in touch by email, phone or whatsapp to check if space is available. If we are able to accommodate the booking, we will hold the room in your name for a maximum of 5 days.
Once your booking has been confirmed you will be issued with an invoice showing the dates you have reserved and the total bill due to be paid. Payment is due on or before the last day of the booking, i.e. the date of collection (although payment and partial payment can be made at any time from receipt of the invoice).
If you wish to change the dates of your booking once the invoice has been issued (or paid), please let us know straight away so that we can update your invoice and offer any dates you no longer require to be booked out by other customers. Where changes which result in reduced days are made at very short notice, i.e. within 7 days of the first day of the booking, the full bill may still be due.
